Richardson is a former U.S. Diplomat for the U.S. Department of State with experience in immigration law, consular affairs, foreign affairs, public diplomacy and strategic communication. He has served as American Citizen Services Chief, Immigrant Visa Chief, Acting Nonimmigrant Visa Chief, and Deputy Nonimmigrant Visa Chief, with assignments in Nigeria, Nicaragua, Pakistan and Spain.
Richardson was raised in Charleston and graduated summa cum laude from Emory University and then earned his law degree at Duke University. He comes to BDV Solutions from Nelson Mullins law firm’s Atlanta office where he practiced immigration law.
